Long Service Leave
Long service leave is contained within most general staff employment agreements. These can be found here.
Long Service Leave balances will automatically display in weeks once an entitlement date arrives, not prior.
If your employment agreement is silent on long service leave there is no provision. Academic staff are not entitlemed to long service leave.
If you are covered by grand-parented long service leave provisions you can contact Human Resouces for details via the ‘Ask a Question’ functionality on the HR homepage.
Long service leave is applied for via the Staff Web Kiosk.
The exception to this process is for those covered by grand-parented LSL provisions. Due to their complexity a manual application process is required – Grandparented Long Service Leave Application Form.
