Each paper1 is worth 12 Otago points (3 US Semester Credits / 6 ECTS).
Students taking the paper offered should expect to be in classes, on field trips or doing personal study during the 3-week intensive block. Weekends will generally be free, depending on the final field trip schedule. Pre-readings are required prior to arrival on campus (these will be provided). Students that wish to travel should allow time after the course to do so.
Final write-up period
The final write-up period for assessments extends until Friday 31 August 2018. The write up can be completed and submitted electronically by students who need to return home or wish to travel further at the conclusion of the on-campus classes and/or the field trips. Of course, students are also welcome to return to Dunedin for the write-up period, although please note that University accommodation will not be provided through July and August, as the second semester will be underway.
The University of Otago paper co-ordinators will be available to provide advice and guidance through the write-up period - either face-to-face or online.
