External Username - Renewal

Use this form to request the renewal of a University username for people who are not staff or students of the University of Otago. A University username is required to enable requests for access to other services such as a University ID card, Library resources and IT services.

Policy Change (23 May 2017): All staff can obtain a staff ID card with their staff username, regardless of whether they are permanent or fixed term, or the hours they work.  This enhancement removes the need for staff to obtain or renew an External Username. Identity Card Issuing Policy

Your request for a University username must be approved by your University of Otago Head of Department or delegated authority (e.g. Departmental Administrator). Please enter their details below. An email message will be sent to them when you submit this form. Once we receive their response approving your access, we will action this request.
