Introducing a New Way to Manage Your University Password
Monday, 14 May 2012
There is now a new password self-service website you can use to change the password for your University of Otago username when you need to do so.
To change your password:
- Visit the self-service password management website and follow the instructions for changing your password.
- Set up your six ‘challenge’ questions that will enable you to use the ‘Forgotten your password?’ option to reset your password if you ever forget it. Our Frequently Asked Questions will help you do this.
- Log off from any services that you have used your University username and old password to log on to (e.g., email, your computer, mobile devices, etc.).
- Log on again using your University username and new password.
Do you have a question? Please see our Frequently Asked Questions about managing your password at the University of Otago.
If you have any feedback or encounter any problems using self-service password management, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
Note: Password management is the only service currently available on the Oracle Identity Manager website. Other services will become available to you as future Identity and Access Management services are developed and introduced.
