Monthly Software Security Updates - 2nd Week of each Month

Time Frame:  The second week of each month, 5pm-12am, Wednesday to Sunday

Audience: All University staff and students

Description:
ITS applies software security updates to all University of Otago servers as necessary during the second week of every month.

The schedule for applying these updates is:

  • 5pm-12am, Wednesday and Thursday (these updates won’t interrupt normal access to services)
  • 5pm-12am, Friday
  • Potential for brief service interruptions from Saturday to 5pm Sunday.

These security updates may result in a short interruption to your access if ITS needs to restart a service.
