Service Restored: Blackboard SafeAssign Submissions
Time Frame: 4:00am-12:45pm Tuesday 31 July
Audience: Staff and students using Blackboard
During the above time frame a problem with SafeAssign in Blackboard prevented new SafeAssignments being created as well as preventing some SafeAssignments being submitted by students.
This problem has now been resolved through collaboration with Blackboard, but some SafeAssignments that were able to be submitted during the outage are returning a 0% match score. We suggest that staff check any current SafeAssignments and if some are showing a 0% match score, that the paper is re-processed to generate the report. To do this, click on the tick in the "SA Report" column, and then click the "Re-process the paper without the selected sources".
