Resolved - Service Outage: August Microsoft Software Security Updates
Time Frame: Friday 17 August 2012, 5pm-9pm
Saturday 18 August 2012, 9am- 5pm
Audience: All University staff and students
Services Affected: During the above time frame, ITS will apply Microsoft software security updates to the following services/systems. There will be a brief (15 minute) interruption to your access to these services while they are being restarted. Services affected may include the following:
- Starrez - Accommodation Services and Executive Residence booking system
- Cardax - University security and monitoring system
- CareerHub - Careers Development Centre web application
- Touchpoint
- Corporate Systems Applications - 10 - 15 minute outage
- Docushare - Corporate document management system
- Isaac - International Office Database Server
- Streaming Service - eLearning's Streaming server
- Tangata - HR Server
- LOS - HEDC's Learning Objects Application Server
- University Desktop Terminal Services environment
- Pharos Printing System including remote campuses and i-Print
- Monitor Printing Funds Management System
- Business Objects
- Finance One - Citrix and nTier
- Citrix Published Applications
- BDB Webpage including password changes for University Account
- University Timetabling System
- Otago Connect
- Remedy/ ARS System
- Credit Card Gateway
- Avaya Call Management Server
