Staff username and password
Your University staff username allows you access to various online resources within the University, such as:
You receive a University staff username and password when you become a University of Otago employee.
Student username and password
Your University student username allows you access to various online resources within the University, such as:
- PIMS (Personal Information Management System)
- Student Webmail
You receive a University student username and password when you enrol as a University of Otago student.
Non-University staff and student username and password (external)
If you need to access University of Otago IT services, but are not a student or staff member, you can apply for an external University username and password. An external username and password will give you limited access to the University of Otago’s online resources.
Generic (role-based) University username and password
You can get a generic (role-based) username and password set up for a function or role, rather than for an individual, within the University of Otago.
