Software Licences for Students
The following licences are available to students and postgraduate students:
Endnote
EndNote is a software tool that you can use to manage bibliographies and references.

Microsoft software
Students can purchase Microsoft Office University edition software at a reduced rate through the Student Select program, of which the University of Otago is a member.

NVivo
NVivo is only available to postgraduate students for use on their own computers. NVivo is a qualitative data analysis tool that provides easy access to data, and also enables clerical tasks to be extensively automated.

Sophos Anti-virus
The licence for the University’s anti-virus software Sophos AV, allows students to download and install one copy of the software, which is then kept up to date via a server located at the University.

SPSS
SPSS is only available to postgraduate students for use on their own computers. SPSS is a statistical software package that includes: Amos, AnswerTree and DataEntry Builder software.
