GraphPad Prism
GraphPad Prism is a software tool that combines basic biostatistics, curve fitting and scientific graphing into one programme. GraphPad Prism software is available for both Macintosh and Windows computer platforms.

System requirements for GraphPad Prism software
Prism 5 for Windows
- Operating System: Windows 2000, XP or Vista. Your screen must have a resolution of 1024 x 768 (XGA) and be able to show at least thousands of colors (16 bit).
- Prism needs 60 megabytes of space on the hard drive.
- Some features of Prism for Windows require Internet Explorer 6 and Flash Player 7 or higher.
Prism 5 for Macintosh
- Operating system: OS X 10.4 or above.
- Intel and PowerPC-based Mac computers are supported.
- Your screen must have a resolution of 1024 x 768 (XGA), and be able to show at least thousands of colors (16 bit).
- Prism needs 60 megabytes of space on the hard drive.
GraphPad Prism software usage and licence terms
- Staff and students can use GraphPad Prism software on University-owned computers.
- Staff can use GraphPad Prism software on their home computers for University work only. They can only do so while they are employed by the University.
- Postgraduate students can only use GraphPad Prism software on their personal computers for University work. They can only do so while they are studying at the University.
- An annual licence for GraphPad Prism software is available through ITS. The licence period is 1 January to 31 December.

Ordering GraphPad Prism software through ITS
University Departments
Please complete the order form on the software licence order forms page to order GraphPad Prism software from ITS.
Staff also need to complete and submit a Work at Home application form to ITS if they wish to use GraphPad Prism software on their home computer.
Postgraduate students
Postgraduate students can only use GraphPad Prism software on their own personal computer.
Departments must order the GraphPad Prism software for their postgraduate students. Both the student and the authorising department must sign the Postgradate GraphPad Prism order form.
