Word - Thesis Writing (Mac)
Course Level: Advanced
Course Cost: $20 (this course only open to students) (plus GST where applicable)
Course Duration: 4 hours (2 sessions of 2 hours each)
Platform: This course is taught using Macintosh
Course Overview: Learn advanced features of Word to help prepare a thesis or long document. This is two, 2-hour courses, one week apart. Students must attend both sessions. Course uses Word 2011.

Course Contents: Features essential to formatting and structuring a long document:
- document setup
- styles
- customised page numbering
- sections
- tables, charts and images
- figures and captions
- footnotes and endnotes
- table of contents
- combining multiple documents
