Te Roopu Whai Putake

Te Roopu Whai Putake is the Otago University Maori Law Students Association. Through links with the Law Faculty, the Maori Centre, S.O.U.L.S. and the wider Dunedin community Te Roopu Whai Putake provides strong educational, cultural and social support networks for all Maori students.

There is a representative on the S.O.U.L.S. executive, and Te Roopu Whai Putake has formal representation on the Law Admissions Committee. Tutorials and study groups are run in conjunction with the Maori Centre and the wider legal community.

Representatives will be present in all the inaugural lectures and notices and information about Te Roopu Whai Putake meetings and events will be posted on noticeboards in both the 8th floor Hocken common room and the Maori Centre. Our contact details are whai.putake@otago.ac.nz
