	CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform The CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform is designed to support multiple stages and types of scientific research. The CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform supports multifaceted scientific research such as retrosynthetic planning, formulation design, testing-related methods research, and biosequence searching. 	CAS SciFinder-n SciFinder-n is the new new platform for SciFinder. First time users must register (see entry below). If you have previously registered using the old version of SciFinder (SciFinder Scholar), this existing login will work for SciFinder-n. This comprehensive database for chemical reactions, substances, structures and indexed chemistry patents includes journal abstracts, patents and other literature references on all areas of science and its applications. Also containing detailed information on compounds and substances including their properties, reactions and full synthetic methods as well as protein and nucleotide sequences. A sophisticated Retrosynthesis Planner available can also be found in SciFinder-n.

	CAS: Formulus CAS Formulus® is a curated collection of over five million formulation records from peer reviewed literature, patents and product inserts from the US FDA. Access a world leading collection of formulations to evaluate ingredients, manufacturing processes and regulatory information in a user friendly interface. 	Global Health (Ovid) Global Health brings together two databases: the Public Health and Tropical Medicine (PHTM) database, previously produced by the Bureau of Hygiene and Tropical Diseases (BHTD), and the human health and diseases information extracted from CAB ABSTRACTS. Dating back to 1973, together they provide a unique resource which offers deep subject coverage of information related to human health and communicable diseases. Global Health provides an alternative, complementary point of reference with a broad analysis of foreign language journals, books, research reports, patents and standards, dissertations, conference proceedings, annual reports, public health, developing country information, and other difficult to obtain material. The Global Health database covers the following aspects of human health and disease: communicable diseases, tropical diseases, parasitic diseases and parasitology - medical entomology, human nutrition, community and public health, and, medicinal and poisonous plants. Access also provided to the Global Health Archive from 1910.
	Nutrition and Food Sciences (CABI) A specialist database covering human nutrition, food science and food technology. Key subject areas include public health, clinical nutrition, nutrition physiology, food safety, food security, consumer behaviour, food science and technology and food product groups such as functional foods.
	PubChem PubChem is a freely accessible online database for chemical information, providing comprehensive information on various chemical entities. Search chemicals by name, molecular formula, structure, and other identifiers.
	Scopus (Elsevier) A multidisciplinary abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature covering the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. The database includes more than 5,000 international publishers including Elsevier (ScienceDirect), Springer, Wiley-Blackwell, Taylor & Francis, and Sage.
	Toxline (ProQuest) This database, produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, provides bibliographic citations and abstracts from the core journal literature in all areas of toxicology, including chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pesticides, environmental pollutants and mutagens and teratogens.
	VITIS-VEA (Viticulture and Enology Abstracts) An international literature database in the field of viticulture, enology and related fields. It provides bibliographic data, keywords and abstracts (where possible) in English for scientific papers.
	Web of Science All Databases Search across all subscribed Web of Science databases: Web of Science Core Collection; BIOSIS Citation Index; Current Contents Connect; Inspec; KCI-Korean Journal Database; MEDLINE; SciELO Citation Index; and, Zoological Record.

	Agricultural Science Collection (ProQuest) This collection contains agricultural science related full-text articles, granular access to figures and tables within articles, and the entire range of bibliographic records from AGRICOLA.
	Biological Science Collection (ProQuest) The Biological Science Database provides wide coverage of biological science fields including animal behavior, aquatic life and fisheries, chemoreception, biochemistry, ecology, plant science, toxicology, virology, microbiology, immunology genetics, health and safety science, oncogenes, entomology, and endocrinology neuroscience. The resource also includes access to MEDLINE, and the ability to cross-search over 30 abstract and citation databases. Content includes: scholarly and trade journals, conference papers and proceedings, books, magazines & newspapers, government & official publications, reports, tables, working papers, video & audio.
	BIOSIS Citation Index (Web of Science) A citation database covering all major areas in the life sciences, with broad coverage in molecular and cell biology, pharmacology, endocrinology, genetics, neurosciences, infectious diseases, ecology and organismal biology.
	Current Contents Connect (Web of Science) A multidisciplinary, current awareness database that provides access to complete tables of contents, abstracts, bibliographic information, and abstracts from the most recently published issues of leading scholarly journals, as well as from relevant, evaluated websites.
	EMBASE (Ovid) A biomedical and pharmacological database containing bibliographic records with citations, abstracts and indexing derived from biomedical articles in peer reviewed journals. EMBASE is especially strong in its coverage of drug and pharmaceutical research.
	FOODnetBASE (Taylor & Francis) An online library of e-book titles on food safety, quality assurance, processing, brewing, regulations, and microbiology. This collection offers information on latest functional foods, antioxidants, foodborne pathogens, and packaging technologies.
	Gale Academic OneFile (Gale Cengage) Provides indexing/abstracting for journals and reference sources with many articles available in full-text. Coverage includes the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects. Includes coverage of the New York Times back to 1985.
	GreenFILE (EBSCOhost) A database covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more.
	Medline (Ovid) An indexing database that covers the international literature on biomedicine, including the allied health fields and the biological and physical sciences, humanities, and information science as they relate to medicine and health care.
	Medline (ProQuest) A bibliographic database produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. The database contains millions of citations, derived from thousands of biomedical and life science journals, and indexed with Medical Subject Headings (MeSH®) from the NLM controlled vocabulary.
	Merck Index Online A full-text database of information on chemicals, drugs and biologicals.
	Natural Science Collection (ProQuest) This collection provides coverage of natural science content from thousands of publications. Also included are searchable tables, figures, graphs, charts and other illustrations from the scholarly research and technical literature.
	New Zealand Food Composition Data Contains information on the nutrient content of foods commonly prepared and eaten in New Zealand. To access the data, first-time users need to register for a username/password.
	Science (Gale OneFile) Access information on the latest developments across a range of scientific disciplines.
