Other more ephemeral pieces appeared over the years, including A. A. Milne’s ‘Happiness’ poem and the rather delightful ‘Clocks cannot tell the time of day.’ The library profession was not forgotten: the J. W. Reynolds loan label was printed by Dr Maslen, Susan Irvine (ex- archivist at the Hocken), and Maud Cahill, now owner-operator of Jason’s Books in Auckland.
