Ulysses

Ulysses

The first printing of Joyce's Ulysses numbered 1000 and was published by Shakespeare and Company, Paris, in February 1922. Copies of these are extremely rare. Charles Brasch was interested in this very modern Irish writer and obtained the 9th printing of Ulysses, a work which Joyce himself called his 'damned monster-novel.' This copy still has the original blue and white wrap covers.
