‘Filled with juicy stories of real-life confessions… this publication is published for a young female readership, aiming to provide readers with fascinating, emotionally-charged stories they can relate to.’ This modern-day description by MagazineArt.com applies directly to this 1960s issue of True Love Confessions. Packed with three ‘real’ stories and printed in Sydney, it (and other copies) was distributed to eager readers by Gordon and Gotch throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Under the pseudonym Kermit Welles, Manning Lee Stokes (1911-1976) wrote Wild Wanton, Shanty Boat Girl, and this title Strange Love, which, while part of the ‘English Romance Library’ series, was printed in Sydney.
