Since 1959, New Zealand printers for the Press have been the Otago Daily Times (1963), John McIndoe Ltd, the University of Otago Printery (1992), UniPrint (Auckland, 1993), GP Print Ltd., (Wellington, 1999), PrintLink (Wellington, 2002), Astra Print (Wellington, 2003), Wyatt & Wilson Print Ltd, (Christchurch, 2003), Spectrum Print (Christchurch, 2005), and Southern Colour Print Ltd (Dunedin, 2007). Printed by Spectrum Print, Gothic NZ. The Darker Side of Kiwi Culture grew out of a conference and is one of the first books on New Zealand gothic. One anonymous blogger said of the book: 'Surely the contribution of Dr Jack Ross outweighs the evil of the book's mentioning Mr Peter Jackson?'
