Marketing staff at OUP also collect reviews of their titles, which are copied to authors, and archive all documents relating to their publications. On display is 'Newsletter from 1994', just one of the archived folders. In 2006, the Press initiated a winter programme, 'Fridays at the Press', at which authors talk about their books and which provide an opportunity for staff and the public to mix and mingle and talk books. This is no doubt welcome relief for staff, as they prepare for yet another inevitable deadline.
