Introductory Statistical Methods and the Analysis of Variance

Introductory Statistical Methods

In 1984, Dr W (Bill). S. Sewell replaced Dr Harris as Assistant editor, and in 1985, when McEldowney retired, Sewell took over as editor, but only on a part-time basis. In late 1987, Sewell left for a full-time position at the Government Printing Office, and was replaced by Mr Iain Lonie, who unfortunately died five months later. After an interim period, Dr Helen Watson White was appointed editor on 20th July 1988. Through these trying times, books continued to come off the press: 250 copies of Roger Collins's bibliography on Meryon; the first edition of Erich Kolig's The Noonkanbah Story (reprinted twice and going through three editions); and John Harraway's very successful text book on statistical methods.

R. D. J. Collins, Charles Meryon. A Bibliography (1986); Erich Kolig, The Noonkanbah Story (3rd ed., 1989); John Harraway, Introductory Statistical Methods and the Analysis of Variance (1992).
