Elsie Locke: A Tribute

Elsie Locke: A Tribute

The New Zealand Women's Studies Journal is a biannual journal which was established by the Women's Studies Association in 1984. Its focus is primarily, but not exclusively, on women's studies in New Zealand and the Pacific. It was published by UOP from 1996 to 2007, and will be available online from the Association in 2009. Otago University-based Dr Kwok-Wing Lai is the editor of Computers in New Zealand Schools, also published by UOP and now in its twentieth year. A successful Children's Computer Graphics competition was started in the journal by the Press. This issue carries a cover illustration by Bella Harrex, daughter of Wendy, calling for entries for the first competition. Bella suggested the competition and is now a professional photographer.
