The Robertson Library provides library and information services to the staff and students of the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic.

The Robertson Library - Union Street East

As well as housing comprehensive collections in a wide variety of subject areas, the Union Street East Library provides additional services for patrons. These include:

• Reference and research services
• National and international interloan facilities
• Work and study areas
• Access to a selection of research and journal article databases

Cromwell Campus Library

The Cromwell Campus Library provides resources to support Otago Polytechnic courses taught in Cromwell and Wanaka. It has a permanent stock of approximately 1,400 book titles, plus periodicals, videos and databases. The library's collections have been developed especially to support courses taught in Central Otago, and concentrate on:

• Tourism (hotel service and visitor service)
• Outdoor recreation (adventure tourism and mountain recreation)
• Catering
• Horticulture (certificate and diploma levels)

The Cromwell Campus Library also provides study tables, a periodical browsing area, a photocopier available for use by patrons, internet access for course-related research and the services of a librarian on site to help with research and reference questions.
