Biography

John Taylor has held positions in Germany and in South Africa. Currently he is the managing editor of Cogntive Linguistics Research (Mouton de Gruyter) and is on the editorial board of the Functions of Language (John Benjamins), and of the journal Cognitive Linguistics .His recent publications include:

John Taylor is responsible for LING 215 (phonetics and phonology 1), LING 316 (Semantics) and LING 420 (Special Topic in Grammar for Language Teaching) and co-teaches LING111.
