The Department offers the following postgraduate programmes:

Diploma for Graduates (DipGrad)

Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (BCom(Hons))

This combines a taught component with a compulsory research dissertation taken over two semesters (full-time).

Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (PGDipCom)

This is primarily a taught-course programme taken over two semesters (full-time). 

Master of Business (MBus)

This combines a taught component taken over two semesters (full-time), followed by a substantial research thesis.

Master of Sustainable Business (MSusBus)

This combines a taught component taken over two semesters (full-time), followed by an applied or research project.

Master of Commerce (MCom)

This is usually a research thesis only degreee taken over one calendar year starting at any time. It can alternatively combine a taught component taken over two semesters (full-time) leading to the Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (PGDipCom) - see above, followed by a substantial research thesis.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

This is awarded on the basis of submission of a research thesis only.
