Many Otago Marine Science students come from overseas from a broad
range of backgrounds spanning maths, physics, statistics, geology, zoology
to botany. Some students take one or more of our undergraduate or 4th
year courses during a semester abroad, particularly junior year American
students. Others enrol in the year long postgradaute diploma and many
stay on to do a MSc by thesis only or a PhD.
