Marine Science offers a range of post graduate qualifications (listed above) for students from a broad range of backgrounds spanning maths, physics, statistics, geology, zoology to botany.The department also offers a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate level courses covering multi-disciplinary and specialized topics in marine science. The links on the above give lists of available courses. Students in marine science come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from international students taking courses as part of a semester abroad to those from both NZ and overseas doing MSc and PhD research.
