Notes
This plant consists of elongated or pear shaped bladders filled with sea water. They can be up to 9 cm long, but are more commonly 2 - 6 cm. The colour is golden to olive brown. The texture is firm and turgid not slimy. Holdfast is a flattened disc, often with plants of various sizes arising from a common base. Found on intertidal rock on open coasts.
