International Student Groups
NEW ZEALAND NATURE DISCOVERY PROGRAMMES
A visit to the NZ Marine Studies Centre and Aquarium gives international students a window on marine life in the Southern ocean. For groups visiting other wildlife attractions on the Otago Peninsula, an aquarium visit helps to illustrate the food web and explain why albatross, penguins and sealions make the Peninsula their home.
Groups may opt for a standard Guided Tour, a tailored Discovery Tour, or a hands-on education programme.
Allow at least one hour for a standard Guided Tour and 1.5 hours for a Discovery Tour.
Education programmes vary from 1.5 hours to several days in duration (for example for an in-depth animal study).
