Diploma for Graduates (DipGrad)

The Diploma for Graduates is a very flexible qualification that can be structured to meet your requirements

The DipGrad is paper based, and is available either as a full-time course taught over one year, or part-time over more than one year.

A DipGrad in Marketing is a great choice if you're looking for:

  • Extra Marketing study to extend your first Marketing degree, diploma or other qualification
  • Marketing knowledge to add to a qualification from another discipline
  • A bridging qualification to access a course of higher study, such as a Postgraduate Diploma or a Masters degree

To enrol for a DipGrad, you'll be expected to have a degree or a diploma from a New Zealand university, or provide satisfactory evidence of appropriate training and experience.

There are two types of DipGrad: Flexible and Endorsed. The Flexible DipGrad allows you to build on any extra papers you may have taken during your degree. The Endorsed DipGrad allows you to concentrate your papers in one specific subject area as if you were acquiring an extra major.

Diploma for Graduates endorsed in Marketing

The Diploma for Graduates endorsed in Marketing consists of papers worth at least 54 points from those prescribed for a Marketing major at 300 level and/or from those available at a higher level in Marketing.

Diploma for Graduates endorsed in Advertising

The Diploma for Graduates in Advertising is a one year degree, made up of a selection of seven papers from a large range of disciplines, which will  allow you to tailor-make your vocational ambitions.
