The Department of Marketing offers two prizes annually:
The University Bookshop Prize in Marketing for top 200-level student. Established in 1985 by the Directors of the University Book Shop Otago Limited. The prize is awarded annually to the student with the highest level of attainment in Marketing at 200-level.
The Mueller-Heumann Prize in Marketing for top 400-level student. Established in 1995 from contributions to a fund subscribed by students, colleagues and friends of Professor Guenther Mueller-Heumann, a member of the staff of the Department of Marketing from 1976 to 1994 and Head of Department from 1976 to 1990. This prize is awarded annually to the student who achieves the highest level of attainment in Marketing at 400-level.
