This
is considered a vital part of the overall functioning of
the
National Addiction Centre (NAC) and considerable emphasis
is given to active liaison with the addiction treatment
field in New Zealand, both informally and formally.

the
New Zealand addiction treatment field through a variety
of means. These include, in addition to this website, a
regular
section in the Addiction Treatment Research News, the official
newsletter of the Addiction Treatment Research Interest Group
(ATRIG),
a grassroots organisation initiated by NAC, and at the
annual
treatment conference (Cutting Edge).
