Association of Social Anthropologists of Aotearoa/New Zealand Conference 2009

Theme: Re-thinking community in contemporary anthropology

This conference celebrates the community of anthropologists living and/or researching in Aotearoa/New Zealand, and also invites papers from around the world. Paper presentations will be accepted digitally, e.g., via YouTube. They may also, of course, be delivered in person. Students, Academics, Past Anthropology Students, Anthropologists currently working with industry, government and ngos and all members of the general public are welcome to attend.

The Big Fat Truth Symposium 2010

New Zealand Bioethics Conference

Theme: Ethics After Harm

Hands-On Science

Hands On Science is intended to give students, who are entering Year 11, 12 or 13 hands-on experience in research science. This is the kind of opportunity normally only available to science graduate students. To qualify for the programme you need to be entering Yr 11, 12 or 13 in the year of attending Hands-On Science, and have your science teacher or principal write a letter confirming that you have the potential to excel in science.
