The Faculty of Law, in conjunction with the Otago Polytechnic Art School, presents the Departmental Textiles Collection. Each year, the department selects a few examples of work that represents the quality of work by the students to add to the collection. For some, this will be an introduction to the transformation of so-called traditional feminine crafts, a quiet revolution which has been occurring in the art world for many years. The work ranges in media, technique and message.
