Studying and Careers in Food Science

This event is aimed towards 100 level and 200 level Undergraduate students who may wish to learn more about the Department of Food Science, our programmes and the postgraduate and career opportunities that Food Science and Consumer Food Science can bring.

We have guest speakers from the Food Industry talking about their careers and advising students on what to expect in the Food Science Industry. They will also be talking about aspects of the Undergraduate degree programmes they enjoyed the most and what they would advise to Undergraduates studying or wishing to study Food Science now.

We also have a representative from the Careers Centre, Student Hub, giving advice on Interview technique for Summer job/internship interviews.

The event will finish at 6:30pm and will be followed by Networking and Nibbles in the Applied Sciences Seminar room.
