Staff Forum to be held today

Dunedin staff will have the opportunity to hear about recent developments within the University when Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne holds a Forum for Staff today.

The forum, which will be held from 1pm to 2pm at the College of Education Auditorium, aims to update staff about strategic issues.

Professor Hayne says the beginning of the academic year is a good time to reflect on Otago’s strategic strengths and challenges. She will be discussing teaching, research and service goals for 2017.

Today's forum is the first of three to be held by Professor Hayne this month. There will be another forum for Christchurch campus staff on Wednesday 15 March, and one for Wellington campus staff on Thursday 16 March. Each forum with be campus-specific.

The forums will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend.
