The PGCertPharm endorsed in Medicines Optimisation is not offered in 2024.

Overview

The PGCertPharm (endorsed) is the first of the programmes of study. It can be gained by successfully completing any two papers to the value of 60 points. If you want to move towards the PGDipClinPharm, then you need to consider taking papers relevant to that qualification.

The endorsement is:

  • Medicines Optimisation (details below)

Papers

To undertake the Medicines Optimisation endorsement, you should take:

  • PHCY 510 Evidence-Based Practice (30 points)
  • PHCY 511 Patient-Centred Care (30 points)

A requirement for the programme is that candidates are registered pharmacists in New Zealand or Australia and practising in their country of residence.
