Occupational health services at our Dunedin Clinics

Overview

Occupational health involves every aspect of health and safety in the modern workplace and deals with both primary prevention of hazards and the assessment and treatment of work related pain and discomfort.

The School of Physiotherapy Clinics offers Occupational Health services including:

  • Manual handling education
  • Workstation assessment
  • Return-to-work programmes
  • Assessment and treatment of pain and discomfort

Return-to-work programmes

The School of Physiotherapy Clinics carry out Return-to-work programmes for ACC, helping to get you back to work in better condition.

This involves consulting with clients, employers, medical teams, rehabilitation teams, and ACC case managers, and developing a plan giving you the best prospects of return to active work following an accident or injury.
