Brian Miller

Brian Miller's spent fourteen years in Papua New Guinea, which included seven years as a teachers' college lecturer in science. This also involved writing several science courses and teachers' guides for use in high schools. He spent four years organising the production of the Education Department's publications for schools.

In 1984, he returned to New Zealand and has spent the last seventeen years developing Tapui Children's Books, involving thousands of visits to schools.

His involvement in teaching, writing, book production and bookselling give him a wealth of experience and knowledge of reading.

He is co-author of Kiwi Phonics, along with Heather Deighton-O'Flynn and Diane Miller.
