Academic Audit Unwrapped
Did you know that the University of Otago will be audited by the New Zealand Universities Academic Audit Unit (NZUAAU) in October 2011? Did you know that this is a “whole of institution” audit? Come along and find out what this may mean for you.
The Quality Advancement Unit invites academic and general staff and interested students to find out more about the 2011 Academic Audit by attending a presentation given by Dr Jan Cameron, Director of the NZUAAU. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion involving senior Otago staff with academic auditing experience. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

Speakers:
- Dr Jan Cameron, Director, New Zealand Universities Academic Audit Unit
- Professor Gareth Jones, Director, Bioethics Centre

The Forum was a success with 38 people attending despite the adverse weather conditions. An additional 12 people watched the Forum on line as it was live streamed by the audiovisual unit.
Unfortunately, our guest speaker Dr Jan Cameron was unable to reach Dunedin as her plane was unable to leave Christchurch due to the snow. Professor Gareth Jones presented Jan's powerpoint presentation on her behalf.
