Rockclimbing Combo - "indoor and outdoor climbing"
INTRODUCTION
This course combines an indoor climbing session, where you learn the basics of movement technique, safety, equipment, belaying and top-rope climbing, followed by a day out at one of Dunedin's most popular climbing spots, Long Beach.

If postponed due to weather conditions, the Saturday Long Beach session will be held on the following day (Sunday) at the same time. Please ensure you are also available for this alternative date before you enrol. If postponed a first time, please meet on the alternative day at the start time, regardless of weather conditions. In the event the activity is postponed a second time, the instructor will negotiate another date to suit the group.

WHAT IS PROVIDED & WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
All equipment, climbing wall fees, instruction, shoes and transport is provided.
Please wear warm comfortable clothing to each session. Bring a polypropylene top, a warm/windproof/waterproof jacket, a picnic lunch, drink, sunglasses, sunblock and a camera to the Long Beach session.
VENUE
Friday - Meet at Unipol Recreation Centre, Building One, University Plaza, Anzac Ave at 5.30pm for transport to the indoor wall. Return to the Centre by approximately 8.30pm
Saturday - Meet at Unipol Recreation Centre, Building One, University Plaza, Anzac Ave at 10.00am and drive to Long Beach. Return to Unipol Recreation Centre by approximately 4.30pm
