Handmade Greeting Cards
INTRODUCTION
Learn how to make unique personalized cards for friends and family!
This workshop caters for beginner card-makers as well as providing a broader range of ideas for the truly converted!
You will be shown various techniques including stamping, embossing, layering, colouring and dimensional techniques and the use of other materials to make unique and special cards. You will use rubber stamps, inks, embossing powder, handmade papers, water colour pencils, art markers/felts, ribbon and embellishments to make a selection of handmade cards.
All materials and the best tuition Dunedin has to offer are provided.

Looking for fresh inspiration to kick-start your creative ideas? This workshop will incorporate a range of ideas using a variety of mediums and techniques, including a step/accordion type card, beads, ribbon, glossy card, punches and dry embossing/Cuttlebug.

GENERAL INFORMATION
We have a card-making kit which is available to hire, either for use within the Centre or to take home. It is full of all sorts of card-making equipment, including stamps, templates, punches, craft scissors and more. Hire fees are $5.00/day (students/staff) and $7.50 (public) We also offer for hire a supplementary card kit which contains embossing powders, glitter and stamp pads - $5.00/day (students/staff) and $7.50 (public).
