Handmade Silver Jewellery
INTRODUCTION
This course will teach you the basic skills (cutting, filing, shaping) involved in producing handcrafted/contempory jewellery using precious and non-precious metals such as silver, copper and brass. During the course you will learn how to create such pieces as brooches, bracelets and rings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED & WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Equipment, instruction, and materials for your first project are provided.*
Transport is provided for those who require it. Please let us know when you enrol if you need transport.
Please wear old clothes.
* MATERIALS
All materials are provided for the first project (ring, bracelet or brooch) to the value of $35. You will be required to pay for materials for subsequent projects. This cost will depend upon the size and the number of pieces to be made. Your tutor can advise on these costs but you could allow around $20-30 per item.

Transport leaves the Unipol Recreation Centre at 5.00pm sharp on the Thursday evenings.
