Kava Experience
"An Introduction to a Piece of Fijian Culture"

INTRODUCTION

Get a taste of the Pacific with an evening around the kava bowl. Kava (yaqona) is an intrinsic part of many pacific Islands and Cultures. Kava is prepared, presented and drunk at all social gatherings from welcomes, weddings, birthdays, meetings and deaths to informal social gatherings between friends. During the evening you will learn, experience and participate in the rituals and protocols of the Kava ceremony. A social, relaxed evening to enjoy.
