Developmental Biology Laboratory
Overview
The Developmental Biology Laboratory is a collaboration between research groups in the departments of Physiology and Anatomy, based in the Wellcome Research Building.
Research projects include the developmental determination of skeletal muscle size; the origins and functional microanatomy of back muscles; back muscle pain; the role of growth factors in supporting development of nerves and muscles; and special features of human skeletal muscles which distinguish them from other mammals.
