Returning Students’ Course Planning Days

You don’t have to wait until you’re back on campus to plan your course for 2017. The Course Planning Days are an opportunity, once your exam results are in, to meet one-on-one with the experts and review your course of study for 2017. See the Course Advice website for details.

May 2017 graduation

As graduation invitation emails can be sent only to your student email address, you need to continue to check this even after you have finished studying, or set up email forwarding to your preferred email address.

If you selected to graduate in May 2017 via your eVision student portal, you still need to apply for a place in one of these ceremonies when applications open. Applications for May 2017 graduation ceremonies will open 6 March and will close on 20 March.

Extra skips & DCC rubbish collections – Friday 4 and Saturday 5 November

Make sure your flat is cleaned out thanks to extra Skips, recycling and rubbish collections! Don’t get stung by your landlord or the ORC, make sure you make use of the skips and extra DCC rubbish collections.

Skips will be out on Friday 4 & Saturday 5 November, from 9am to 4pm so you can get rid of all that stuff you can’t put out in your black sacks or recycling bins. The DCC recycling bins and rubbish bag collections will be done 2pm-4pm on the same days.

If skips located closest to your flat are full, please take your rubbish to another skip at these locations.

If you can, it’s probably best to get rid of your rubbish before 3.30pm, as skips which are taken away to be emptied towards the end of the collection period may not be replaced with a new skip.

Please make yourself familiar with the DCC rubbish collection service requirements for using DCC rubbish bags only. Non-DCC rubbish bags will not be collected.

Thanks for your help with keeping the campus tidy during 2016.
