Workshops for the BSW and MSCW(Applied)

(Updated 21 February 2018)

The department holds on-campus compulsory workshops for each social work paper. These are held over a period of 1 to 1.5 days for each paper and are normally combined into blocks of time to consolidate the sessions you are required to attend.  For example, if you were undertaking two papers then the workshops would be held as close together as possible. These workshops are generally held at the beginning of each semester, although there has been some slight alteration in this depending on the stage of the learning. Information on each of the workshops is normally sent out in plenty of time to allow students to plan in advance. Students are required to book their own accommodation.  In previous years we have held some early components of the workshops at the Marae, however, this will not be the case in 2018.
