COVID and mask-wearing at Student Health

New Zealand no longer has any mandatory COVID isolation or mask wearing requirements.

However, COVID will continue to circulate in our community and we recommend that all students follow the Ministry of Health’s recommendation – staying home if unwell, and doing so for 5 days if you have COVID to help you recover and minimise COVID infections in our community.

While the mask-wearing mandate in health care settings has been lifted, Student Health requests that if you have symptoms of a cold or flu, that you wear a mask while in the Student Health facility for the protection of others.
