One of the main objectives of our College is to provide an environment for our students to succeed in their studies. There is plenty of study space for students to use. Learning within the University context requires students to be on time and well organised. To recognise students with outstanding academic achievement in the first semester examinations, Studholme holds an invitation only 'A' scholars function where 'Academic of the year' is awarded to one outstanding student based on their first semester academic results.

Tutorials

Studholme College offers tutorial sessions in the evenings for our students to support what they have learned in their lectures. These tutorials are geared to help the student arrive at the solutions themselves.

Studholme academic performance:

Our student residents stay with us for 38 weeks in any given year. Their academic performance at university level is due largely to the students themselves. History has shown us that if a student is already academically able and has already established good study and learning habits while at secondary school level, then they will perform extremely well within the University setting.

As one part of our selection criteria for Studholme College we look at your academic performance in year 12 to project whether you will be able to cope with the university degree you have indicated that you intend studying.
