The Graduation procession

Graduation parade with pipersThe OUSA organises an informal procession along George Street prior to the ceremony. This is voluntary, but it is a great opportunity to walk along the middle of the main street of Dunedin and be acknowledged by your friends and family.

Please assemble outside the School of Dentistry 15 minutes prior to the departure of the procession.

On days where two ceremonies are being held, there will be only one procession:

  • If your ceremony begins at either 1.00pm or 4.00pm, the procession will depart at 11.30am
  • If your ceremony beings at 3.00pm, the procession will depart at 1.30pm

View the campus map for the location of the School of Dentistry
