Information

The University of Otago Foundation for Malaysia is pleased to be able to offer this prize to an undergraduate student in their second or subsequent year of study, who has made an outstanding contribution to the welfare of Malaysian students at the University of Otago.

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens of Malaysia (and not have citizenship or residency of New Zealand or Australia)
  • Have completed the first year of a degree course at the University of Otago
  • Be enrolled full-time for their second or subsequent year of study at the University of Otago and have contributed in a significant way to the Malaysian student community or to the wellbeing of Malaysian students at the University of Otago
