The City of Vienna & Region
Vienna is one of the undisputed capitals of art, music, architecture, fashion, theatre, literature and intellectual pursuits. It is also a centre of political and social significance. Much of Vienna's cultural history is reflected in its magnificent buildings. The Viennese are justifiably proud of their heritage. However, much as they cherish the past, they don't live in it. What makes Vienna interesting is the way the old and the new co-exist harmoniously.
